Threatened Species Day: Landcare and K2W helps deliver important environmental message to students

Students from around the Upper Lachlan Shire participated in an interactive educational event that helped to deliver an important message about the environment at Taralga Public School for a Threatened Species Day event on Thursday, September 8.

Funding boost for K2W Glideways

The Squirrel glider (Petaurus norfolcensis),  Spotted-tailed quoll (Dasyurus maculatus) and Scarlet Robin (Petroicaboodang) are all listed as threatened species in NSW with some of the few surviving populations occurring within the Upper Lachlan region along the Abercrombie Corridor.
